Today was a very good day. After an eight hour long migraine (my insurance company decided I didn’t need my preventative anymore) finally let me loose, I felt great.
I had breakfast and lunch and dinner, and didn’t have to force them down.
Marci’s mums are all open and happy.
I felt well enough to clean the kitchen – including the refrigerator – and enjoyed doing it. It’s funny how doing familiar things, even familiar chores can boost the mood.
I had no pain today that a little Tylenol couldn’t handle. Cherished friends stopped by for a visit and to bring me a loaner portable oxygen concentrator until mine arrives. If you have a friend close enough to lend you their deceased parent’s medical equipment, hang on tight to them. And I actually had two offers, so I am doubly blessed.
Let that be a lesson to you, kids, don’t toss them out after your parents’ departure, you or someone you love is going to need them sooner than you think.
Today was a very good day. I hope to repeat it tomorrow. If I have hope, I am ahead of the game.
