On Another Good Day…

Share

I was blessed with another good day today. It was a day without the need for pain pills; a day full of sunshine. I saw my cardiologist who was delighted with my progress, including sitting in his office without having to wear oxygen the entire time – a good sign that I should be able to wean off eventually.

My resting heartbeat is dipping down in the 60s now where once it camped in the triple digits. That milestone alone is huge.

Then my echocardiogram showed that my button procedure has now fully encased and I no longer have to take a blood thinner. I look forward to not bleeding if the wind blows too hard.

The butterflies, skippers, hummers, and bees were out in full force today.

Charles and I utilized the last of the season’s blackberries to make jam, with enough left over to put together a cobbler.

We rendered some beeswax into these cute 1.3 oz bars.

It was, all in all, another good day.
